I have been in the agriculture, community education and non-profit arenas for the past 16 years.  I have experience as a teacher, advisor, coach, event planner, fundraiser, and grant manager in the areas of agriculture, education, youth development, non-profit and volunteer/leadership initiatives.  My career has been based on serving farmers and ranchers with disabilities, as well as educating the public about rural health and education, and working with basic community health and wellness.  I am a nationally recognized speaker for professional conferences and community-based events in the agricultural safety and health industry.  I have experience in event planning and management, excellent time management skills, an appreciation of team work and a feeling of completion and accomplishment at the end of tasks.  A strong family relationship, with close ties to community and youth, provide me with the passion I need to be successful in my career and continuing education.  My career goal is to use the instructional design tools and experiences from my education to continue to provide health-related information to rural areas of Indiana and the Midwest.
